Thank You Jesus For ______

Fill in the blank.....I'm thankful for my trip to the states!!! I was very blessed to get a ticket right at the last minute. If it wasn't for my dad flying back and forth from Lima to Cajamarca I wouldn't be in the states today. I was really shown, through that experience, the power of prayer. I knew some people were praying for me to get the ticket and residency papers so I could come. So I'm also very thankful for prayer and the people who prayed for me:) I have been spending most of my time with Sarah and other friends. I have gotten to go to church at CCSC 3times so far! I would say I forgot how much I loved and missed the Jr.High, but that would be a lie:/ I never forgot!!! I love my friends so much, so this trip has really been a SUPER blessing!!

Adventure's Out There

Just like Charles Mump said  in "Up" Adventure is out there! Yesterday (1/18/14) we went to a birthday party for a one year old.I'm still not sure why they blare the music and put soooo much into this party that she won't even remember, but it was fun anyway! I got to eat.....CUY......yes I did it! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I even got a souvenir from that birthday party. A Cuy Claw. When the food part was over I just ripped its little foot off and wrapped it up and shoved it in my purse! As much as I enjoy my new life down here, I think about my old life every day(I'm not lying). I miss all the time at the beach with my friends! I miss the sleepovers with Sarah! I miss the Jr.High and the funny faces that some would make at me during Jr.High! Overall though, I really miss my church! Jesus has been working in me though, I have found many new friends and love my new home! Yes everything's completely and totally different to the point of laughing, but I so do enjoy it down here! I would really love to see my Jr.High down here some day!! (Hint hint)

Thanksgiving Day

So as you all know today was Tyhanksgiving!!! We were so blessed today to have Peter and Jazmin and kids , Cynthia, Tom and Lea , Amanda, Cristian, and Lester over! God has blessed is so much with good Christian friends!!! I love them so much!!!

All Is Changing

Well, I haven't blogged in a long time. The time and ideas just don't seem to be there:) My title "All Is Changing" is because, well I'll just put it in list form

: My aunt and uncle get back tomorrow 

:The bible college kids(my friends) leave tomorrow and Saturday 

: I have made some new American friends (The Rice Family)

So Yeah, some stuff is changing:) 

In Peru I just can't seem to stay healthy:/  

I have been sick 4-6 times since moving and in the states.......well.....hadn't been sick in a LONG time!! I guess all those new germs just want to try me out :( So far, despite being sick (physically and home sickly) , Peru has been pretty nice!

I just can't believe how time flies! I hope to come and visit my home real soon

A Day AWAY!!!

The Lord is amazing!!! He has blessed me with so many friends!!! Friends who wanna hang out with me,who love my weirdness,&who most importantly:LOVE JESUS!!! I was very blessed to go have lunch at the bible college in Llacanora,Peru on thursday(9-26-13) and then I was able to take a test there that I knew NOTHING about ;) (I took it for fun)Then I was able to spend the night! Today I got to experience a day of bible college! I went to devos, I would of gone to class if it wasn't on Calvary Disntinctives and actually on a book of the Bible! My friends Amy and Brandy are actually staying over tonight (9-27-13)!!! I met so many new people and continue to build closer relationships with my already friends! Thank The Lord for all the trials in your life! I was pretty upset when I had to move, mad at my parents and mad at life i guess? But God showed me that through these hard times He has given me some good times!!!

I Just Don't Have The Words

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I just don't have the right words to say. The words won't flow out easily. But I'm  going to try to have this blog flow nicely. Everyone here in Peru is doing great! I have actually made some new friends!! Most of them are Bible college kids/adults/students/:) The youth group at our church is so much fun!!! Ed does a great job teaching!!! I really enjoy Youth Group! Nyka and I got our bean bags last Thursday(9-12-13)  My dad is gonna be teaching at our church for a few weeks while the Petrik jr's are in the states. He is going to be teaching in Spanish and is a little nervous so could you all pray for him and his translator, Caso, as well. I miss you all!!! Please email me so I can here more from you all!!! The Blackout

So far Cajamarca has been amazing ! Being its only been one day. Today I went to the store with my Tia(Nicole Petrik) and Arianna(cousin) and we walked of corse. It was really warm today , my grandma(Jan Petrik) said it was the warmest day since they moved here. So we were at the store just waiting for the lady to finish what she had to do and I suddenly felt really tired. Then I felt like I was gonna throw up, then I the room started spinning and I started to blackout . I fainted! I don't remember much after that. Then I woke up. Tia said I was out for like 3 seconds then I woke up. I couldn't here anything, everything was blurry and there was a Peruvian man holding me up and some cajamarquina holding me up as well. I almost stopped while walking out if the store because I didn't know where Tia was (even though she was right in front of me I couldn't see her.) Tia started asking my questions in the taxi, like if I was ok , if I had ever fainted(never have). I couldn't answer very well because it sounded like she was far away an echo. I now feel fine, just tired! I probably was just de-hydrated and not used to the 9,000-10,000 elevation. I am fine now just pray for me por favor !!! I want you all to know that I have the best Tia(aunt) ever!!! And for those of you that live near your aunt or she is still here on earth , hug her and tell her you love her! My Tia was there for me when I fainted and I know I scared her but I love her so much !!!! I love my Tia and I miss my Auntie Shanny!!!
